Our mission is to provide high-quality prosthetic solutions to dogs in need, helping them lead happier, more active lives.  No matter how it happened—accident, illness, amputation—the life of a dog who has lost a limb can be challenging. Although the dog can adapt well with its remaining legs, playing, chasing balls, climbing stairs, it isn't quite the same. They can experience phantom sensations, have a higher chance of developing arthritis in their other limbs, or long term joint stress.  Step Support Society is a non-profit organization that believes that every dog deserves their chance to run, play, and live a joyful life, no matter their physical challenges. By designing custom made prosthetics, free of charge to dogs and owners in need, from playful puppies to aging seniors, we serve dogs of all walks of life.
