Goals for funding: Create sustainable plan for emergency food hamper program. We had to shut this program down due to lack of funding, resources, and volunteer aid. We have a strategic plan in the works for re-opening in 2025 to assist those in emergency situations. Create and provide immediate targets to drive progress and momentum toward achieving our 2025 vision and mission. Create and provide more tools for our 519 Nourish Kitchens in Cambridge and Kitchener so they can prep, cook and serve more meals to the community in need. Provide up to date training for our volunteers and team leads, and create more education for them to learn and grow as they serve in their community.Set up some more infrastructure around our little free pantry program where we have 27 food pantry's located across the region. Many of these locations will need to be repaired, painted, sealed, doors replaced, and entire pantries replaced do to wear and tear, We need equipment, supplies, and tools to help ensure we are able to safely keep up with the demand. Create sustainability around our 519 Community Collective Nourish Fridge at 150 Rogers St in Waterloo. This community resource is well utilized, so much so that we have a very hard time keeping it stocked. We are hoping to spread more awareness around the community, and we hope to engage more regular supports for this precious resource. We are 100% community funded and  ran by volunteers, and rely on generous donors to continue to help us feed aprox 900 people per week with all of our programs and services!$1.50 = 1 hot meal, snack, and bottle of water! Just think of how many people your donation can feed! We appreciate every donation both big and small! We are stronger together!
