Our goal is to create meaningful relationships among the Kingston and Guelph community to ensure that each child is not left behind and neither are their belongings.  

Bags of Promise recognizes the struggles faced by the youth homelessness community and aims to promote a healthier and safer environment for affected individuals. We acknowledge the fact that, while transitioning between homes, many youths carry their belongings in a trash bag. At Bags of Promise, our mission is to eliminate the use of disposable trash bags and replace these with reusable backpacks and bags containing basic necessities, demonstrated through our yearly bag drives. We are committed to bringing communities and individuals together, and educating the public about the various issues faced by homeless youth. We believe in the importance of encouraging young people to lead by example and uplift their peers in need.

Through our three pillars of service, advocacy and education, we strive to achieve our mission to alleviate poverty among youth experiencing homelessness.
