The Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation is dedicated to advancing mental health care initiatives in Quebec and across Canada by raising awareness, improving access to care, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness. Originally focused on supporting veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related conditions, as well as expanding mental health treatment for children and young adults, the Foundation continues to evolve.

While honoring our core mission, we are proud to expand our impact by supporting proactive initiatives that help prevent the onset of mental illness. In particular, we are committed to partnering with programs that engage underprivileged youth in sports, fostering inclusion, purpose, and a sense of community. Additional partnerships focus on enhancing hospital infrastructure, increasing the availability of psychologists and therapists in hospital settings, and improving technological infrastructure to expand access to care.

Through these efforts, we strive to make a meaningful impact in our communities and beyond, helping to remove barriers to mental health care within the Canadian health care system.
