Pour poursuivre les efforts d'Ian Kerr visant à rendre le milieu universitaire plus inclusif et pour donner aux chercheuses et chercheurs émergents les moyens de parvenir à leurs fins, on utilisera le Fonds afin d’octroyer de nouvelles bourses de recherche aux étudiantes et étudiants à la maîtrise en droit et technologie dont les travaux de recherche portent sur l’aspect juridique de certaines questions, comme la protection de la vie privée, l’intelligence artificielle, l’éthique liée à l’utilisation des technologies ou la robotique. Elles viendront en aide à celles et ceux au parcours non traditionnel ou aux points de vue hors norme ou encore aux personnes venant de l’étranger qui ne profitent généralement pas des modes de financement habituels. Ensemble, rendons hommage au professeur Ian R. Kerr et repoussons les limites du leadership éclairé dans le domaine des technologies et dans la société.

To continue Ian Kerr's efforts towards a more inclusive academy and to empower emerging researchers, the Fund will create new fellowships for Law and Technology LLM students whose research focuses on the legal aspects of issues such as privacy, artificial intelligence, technology ethics, or robotics. This fund will support students from non-traditional backgrounds or perspectives, or from abroad who are not usually supported by traditional funding schemes. Join us today as we honour Dr. Ian R.
