Our robust programs, delivered by clinical counsellors and trained volunteers, are tailored to those who are at the end of life or grieving the loss of loved ones of all ages, including children and youth.  We continue to address the significant amount of grief associated with suicides, sudden death and drug toxicity in our community. The overwhelming grief and suffering that profoundly impacts survivors of suicide can be too much for some to endure, creating an ongoing cycle of deterioration and other losses in the family unit. The Campbell River Hospice Society is dedicated to helping prevent further devastation by equipping families with tools, peer support and professional clinical counselling to better manage their pain in a way that isn't harmful to themselves or their loved ones.  Our extensive end-of-life services include direct support in private homes, the hospital, and care homes, as well as our four community-funded hospice beds at Yucalta Lodge and the two hospice suites at Evergreen Seniors Home.   Note: You’ll have the option to support the free Canadian platform we use alongside your donation. The default support is set at 15%, but you can choose a lower amount or even set it to $0.00 if you prefer.
