As a registered charity, La Maison d’Ariane counts on the generosity of its donors to continue its mission of helping abused women and children regain power over their lives and advocating to put an end to domestic violence. We are committed to updating our services so that we can also provide support to sexual and cultural diversity, as well as women with reduced mobility.

La Maison d'Ariane, since 1985, has offered a range of services at all stages of the marital relationship, before, during and after the breakup, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The safety of voctimes is at the heart of our shelter. The average stay is 39 days (varying from a few days to 5 months). Thanks to your donations, you help continue its work to combat domestic violence against women and children: 

• Safe temporary shelter for women and their children: 20 spots in 9 individual rooms 
• Free, confidential and anonymous helpline available 24/7
• Individual, group, and mother-child interventions
• Information and assistance with housing, legal, welfare and other processes
• Advocacy
• Post-shelter follow-up for women and children
• Social activities
• Prevention and awareness in the community

Scheduled for 2026, L’Avenue d’Arianewill be a 2nd stage shelter, safe and affordable in the form of private housing. The mission will be to offer psychosocial support as well as 

transitional accomodation to women and their children victims of post-separation domestic violence, favoring feminis intervention. The average stay will be 8 and a half months (which can last up to 18 months dependins on a housing agremment).
