Dear Valued Donor,
RE: New Indo Canadian Centre – Join Us in Making a Lasting Impact on Our Community!
We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. Today, we reach out to you with a heartfelt request for your support in our mission to create a positive and lasting impact in our community. As non-profit organizations, the Gujarati Mandal of Calgary (GMC), and Calgary Indo Canadian Centre Association (CICCA), we rely on the generosity of individuals like you to continue our vital work. For several years, we have dedicated ourselves to serving our community with unwavering commitment. And now, we stand on the brink of an incredible opportunity to expand our impact even further. We are thrilled to announce that we have jointly (equal ownership) acquired a remarkable property, located at 1916A 30th Ave NE bays 5,6,7,8. These 10,073 square feet building, with a capacity of over 500 people, which is set to become the New Indo Canadian Centre, a beacon of hope and a hub of community events for all.
We received possession of the new building today, and we are filled with excitement at the prospect of better serving our community within its walls. However, we cannot accomplish this vision without your invaluable support. We have already made cash deposits from our available GMC and CICCA savings and have secured finance through private lenders and financial institutions for the balance to close on the property, but we still require additional funds to carry out necessary renovations, and purchase essential furniture, fixtures, and equipment valued at approximately $500,000.
This is where you can make a significant difference. By contributing to our cause or assisting us with bridge funding, sponsorships and/or donations, you will help us realize the full potential of our new space and enable us to provide enhanced services to our community. Together, we can build a better future for all who rely on our organizations. Your generosity will directly impact the lives of those we serve, empowering individuals, families, and the community at large. Your donation will allow us to carry out more religious, educational, and social activities for all. It will enable us to offer vital resources, programs, and initiatives that promote unity, inclusivity, and overall well-being.
We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support, and we sincerely hope you will consider supporting our organizations. Attached to this letter is a fundraising presentation that provides more details about our vision and the impact your contribution will have on our community. We encourage you to take a moment to review it, as it showcases what your support will mean to our membership.
Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the Executives of GMC, CICCA or the NICC Board – names, and e-mails are below. We are here to address any concerns and provide additional clarity on our objectives and funding needs. Thank you for your kind consideration and unwavering support. Together, we can create a thriving, inclusive, and vibrant community, one that uplifts the lives of all its members. Join us on this remarkable journey and let us make a positive impact that will resonate for generations to come.
With sincere gratitude,
Manoj Raythatha
