This donation will help Marquee to achieve our mission through 3 streams. 

1) Sponsor a Child

We'll be able to support less fortunate children in York Region by sponsoring them through your donations to attend our educational Musical Theatre programs at no cost to them. Our programs teach valuable life skills such as:

- Oral Communication Skills

- Creative Problem Solving Abilities

- Responsibility

- Motivation and Commitment

- Willingness to Work Cooperatively/Teamwork

- The Ability to Work Independently

- Time-budgeting Skills/Promptness and Respect for Deadlines 

- Acceptance of Rules, Colleagues and Authority

- Leadership Skills  and many more

It is through these skills that our students grow immensely overall in their self confidence, leading them to live lives as stronger, contributing members of society.

2) Community Outreach Initiatives

Your donation allows Marquee to engage with our community.   
We initiate an annual Holiday Card distribution to local senior's homes whereas our students create the cards through a colouring contest. your logo will be included on these cards.   All of our community engagement initiatives are promoted across our social media channels on a daily/weekly basis. We promote positive behaviours and hard work among our students by choosing our "Marquee Member of the Week" and "Camper of the Day" with small prizes for the youth who are involved in our programs. We also do weekly contests resulting in monthly prizes to a winner. You may contribute to our contest prize pack with a product of your choice (min $20 value/pack - 28 prizes per year) or with a financial contribution to purchase the desired item. 

3) Operational Expenses

Your donation will go towards helping Marquee with program expenses, such as helping to cover new and exciting workshops with guest artists. Helping with day to day expenses/consumables. Allowing us to create more programs and new spaces for children to gain more life skills, experience and education in the theatre arts.
