C’est une occasion de renforcer notre impact et de propulser encore plus loin la carrière d’un jeune talent prometteur.  Cette année, nous franchissons une étape majeure : le Prix Peter Mendell devient un prix pancanadien. About the Peter Mendell AwardCreated in 2005, the Peter Mendell Award recognizes the excellence of a young string student at a Quebec university or Conservatory of Music who is 25 years old or younger.This annual award is named after Peter Mendell, a well-known lawyer with the law firm of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg and a true music lover and amateur cellist. Peter and Margie Mendell are proud to support musical excellence in partnership with the JM Canada Foundation and JM Canada.  To mark this 20th edition, we're offering an exceptional $20,000 bursary, the largest ever awarded in the history of the prize. It's an opportunity to reinforce our impact and propel the career of a promising young talent even further.  This year, we take a major step forward: the Peter Mendell Award becomes a pan-Canadian prize.
