Throughout the year, the Trust has continued to do significant work managing its properties - including updating management plans, protecting the habitats of species at risk, removing invasive species, and significant trail improvements at Rock Dunder.Current initiatives include the maintenance of nesting boxes for the Threatened Gray Ratsnake, acoustic monitoring for bird and bat species, and the development of a Territorial Land Acknowledgement through Indigenous partnership. With over 1300 acres up and down the Rideau corridor, such work is ongoing.
