In January 2024, members of the Cathedral made an trip to Sorel to visit an exhibition by Holly Ratcliffe reflecting on our mortality through personal stories and beautifully evocative ceramic funeral urns.

The Cathedral is currently working with Holly to host her exhibition at the Cathedral from mid August to mid September, as well as to organize talks and pottery activities around it to allow more members of our community as well as the wider Montreal to reflect on the intersection of life story, death and spirituality, something we all share and which is innately part of our human condition.

We have been fortunate that the McCord museum is willing to provide us with the display cabinets at no cost, though inevitably transportation is not cheap, and whilst we are being very sparing, other associated installation and publicity costs to make the exhibition a success are adding up.

We invite you to be part of those who will make this exhibition possible.

The total we are aiming for is $4,000 and any contribution is welcome.  Immediate tax receipts will be provided by Zeffy.
