Financial Literacy Month may be over, but JABC provides financial literacy tools to students all throughout the school year!
There is still time to support B.C. students and have your gift matched.
JA British Columbia has been providing financial health and literacy programs to youth free of charge for over 65 years, teaching them how to prepare a budget, understand credit, and recognize fraud. These skills ensure young people have the tools to become financially capable adults.
Too often we see youth graduate from school with no real knowledge of how to manage their finances and invest for the future. The best way to address this lack of knowledge is through education at a young age, when students can develop healthy financial habits.
We ask you to please consider a gift to support youth financial education in B.C.
For $60 you can support one student and give them access to a life-changing JA program this school year, free of charge.
Until the end of the month, every gift will be matched by a long-time and generous supporter of JA. This means your gift has double the impact!
Equipping youth with the building blocks to make sound financial decisions can positively affect their personal finances, small business outcomes and our local economy.
Whether experiencing a program in one of B.C.'s school districts, in an Indigenous community or through a community or business partner, JA students benefit from developing the skillset and mindset they need to thrive and contribute to their communities.
Your donation is an investment in the next generation. Thank you!
