30 years ago, Winnie came to Vancouver alone with only $1,000 in her pocket and no connections. Now she is the owner of a thriving business with wonderful staff and clients. After reflecting on her journey and hearing testimonials from her business partners, she realized that one of the largest obstacles start-up owners face is the lack of easy-to-access business resources and ongoing support. Often, resources are either buried by irrelevant articles or filled with hard-to-understand jargon. From here, the idea for Vision2Reality Foundation was born - a collaborative community for start-ups. By providing crucial resources and the opportunity to network with local business owners and professionals, we give start-ups and small business owners the support they need to realize their vision.

Vision2Reality Foundation is a 100% online, non-profit organization dedicated to helping newcomers to B.C. realize their business vision.

We share knowledge by providing free, simple and practical resources, as well as the opportunity to network with our community, which includes local business owners and experienced professionals.

We are uniquely positioned to assist newcomers as they look to start a new life through the formation of small businesses by leveraging our expertise in navigating the business environment.

Many small businesses fail in the first few years because they lack funding, support, and knowledge. Our online community will allow new business owners to meet professionals and learn how they overcame their challenges. This is what makes us unique - we offer ongoing support, no matter where you come from, if you have a dream and a vision, we would love to help you. 

Since we started our community in April of 2022, over 1000+ members have signed up. In addition, our series of business workshops, storytelling events and mentorship programs have attracted many attendees and helped budding entrepreneurs. 

For this fundraising campaign, our goal is to raise $10,000, which will be used to improve our programs. We need to attract passionate local business owners who want to share their stories and experiences to inspire others. In addition, we will need promotional material to reach more newcomers and immigrants and access better online delivery and recording applications to host and record our events, allowing more people to access our programs.
