April 2024 update-Your support for our Bowl for Kids Sake campaign has been nothing short of incredible. Our goal was set at $130,000, and thanks to the generosity of our community, both online and offline, along with our bowlers, community businesses and with the invaluable event sponsorships, we've raised over a $128,000! 🎳💙

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Barrie & District is very excited to re-ignite the long tradition of Bowl for Kids Sake this year!  Chances are you have participated in this legacy event at least once in your life and now is the time to come out when our youth need us THE MOST!

   THEN TOGETHER WE CAN HELP BRIGHTEN THE FUTURE FOR CHILDREN & YOUTH IN THE BARRIE AREA!

We have multiple event days for you to choose from (everyone welcome in specific industry challenges)

STEP 1: Put together a Team of 4-6 players

STEP 2: Register your Team & select a date/time to bowl

STEP 3: Invite all players to join your Team & collect online donations/pledges

STEP 4: Colour Coordinate your Team and Bowl! 

*We encourage a minimum fundraising amount of $50 per bowler, and we appreciate all funds raised in support of Barrie and Area's young people!

Mentoring relationships are critical to our success, mental health and wellbeing. BBBS Barrie is there for young people who face adversity and are in need of an additional consistent and supportive developmental relationship. It can vitally impact their lives by expressing care, challenging growth, providing support and expanding possibilities.

Every time we pair a child with a mentor, we start something incredible – a life-changing relationship built on friendship, trust and empowerment.  By supporting Bowl for Kids Sake, you help ensure that we can provide high quality mentoring programs both in person and online -which currently include:
