Third Annual Revolution[s]-Against-Stigma Ride

Campaign

We, Chris Goble and Jennifer Block, are riding to raise awareness of the on-going stigma against people who use substances. We are working with the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation to further our contributions toward supportive, community-based care that offers people with lived and living substance-use experience the opportunity to be an integral part of the process. This best-practice approach helps to provide better, more informed care that meets people where they are at so that they can receive safe, compassionate, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed services.

Although we are excited for this year's adventure, we are also unbelievably disheartened that 2023 marks the seventh year of the poisoned drug supply tragedy with another year of unprecedented loss occurring.

We will start logging our kilometres on August 28th with the intention to ride approximately 500 kilometres during the week surrounding International Overdose Awareness Day (August 31st). Please follow @revolution.rider on Instagram for regular updates or join the Revolution[s] Against Stigma Facebook group.

Thanks for being part of the revolution. Your support is greatly appreciated!
