Comox Valley Road Runners' Backyard Ultra

Campaign

On July 23rd, Natalie Pulsford and Andrew Brown are running to raise funds for The Views at St. Joseph’s. The money raised will go towards equipment and programs to help enhance the daily lives of residents and to support their work family at The Views.

Natalie works in the dietary department at The Views. She has an immense love for her job, her co-workers, and all the residents. Daily, she sees how hard everyone works to provide the best level of care and companionship for the residents. Natalie and Andrew would love to help bring more joy to the daily lives of everyone at The Views with the funds they raise through their ultra running event.

This is their second year running the Comox Valley Road Runners' Backyard Ultra. Along with some awesome friends, they will be running 6.7 km every hour, on the hour, until the last person is standing!

Again this year the duo want to give purpose to their pain and are hoping to run longer and raise even more money than the $760 that they raised last year.

Andrew ran 67 km last year before stopping due to an injury. However, that did not stop him from jumping on his bike, riding alongside Natalie, and cheering her on as she ran 114 km over 17 consecutive hours, becoming the last woman standing in the race!

"We are looking forward to another exciting race day and appreciate your support of a cause we care deeply about."

Thank you for considering a donation.
