Begin this Holiday Season by spreading joy and Christmas cheer in our community. We are back and bringing a festive small-town feel to our community. We are hosting our third annual We Love Willowdale Christmas Market & Walking Parade. Join us as we gather together with our neighbours outside and celebrate all that's special about this time of year.

About the Market

NeighbourLink North York's outdoor market runs Saturday, November 25, 2022 from 2pm-9pm at Mel Lastman Square and includes 50+ local artisans, food trucks, and live entertainment. This year, in response to the overwhelming love and support of the last two years, we're thrilled to take it up a notch by relocating to the square!

About the Parade

We are also excited at the expansion of our walking parade, this year we want to feature local businesses, schools and organizations. The Walking Parade will start and end at Mel Lastman Square. It will begin at 5:30pm and go along Yonge St between Empress and Sheppard. When everyone returns to the square we will have a Festive Tree Lighting Ceremony presented by the Yonge North York BIA!

Business Participation

Highlight your business and connect with attendees from across North York and Toronto! There are 3 different levels of participation: Bronze, Silver and Gold

BRONZE: You'll secure your spot in the parade as a business. Have your team walk the 45 minute parade route with the community. Dress up, carry a banner or sign, hand out information. This is a great way to promote yourself in the community. The bronze package is $200.

SILVER: In addition to walking in the parade, we'll also include your businesses' logo on our social media and newsletter advertising the parade and your participation. The Silver package is $300.

GOLD: In addition to walking in the parade and shouting your business out on social media and our newsletter, we'll give you the opportunity to wish everyone a happy holiday from your business from the main stage of the market after the parade and before the tree lighting! Highlight your business for hundreds of neighbours. The Gold package is $400.

Important Dates: Hurry! Business registration closes on November 3rd, at 11:59 pm. Don't miss your chance to be part of this holiday extravaganza!

Event Waiver: By checking the box below you agree to this waiver agreement and the following terms for Christmas Parade Walk & Market on Saturday November 25 2023 The participant agrees that their participation in this NeighbourLink North York event is voluntary. Furthermore, the participant agrees to assume any risk associated with participating in the event, and releases NeighbourLink North York from any and all claims of loss or damage that may arise during the participant’s participation. Such releases are without limitation and include attorneys’ fees, personal injury, property damage, and any other losses or damages suffered by the participant. The participant agrees to indemnify and hold NeighbourLink North York harmless against any and all claims of loss or damage, including damage to NeighbourLink North York property caused by the participant. The participant hereby warrants that they are physically fit and capable of participating in event without undue risk. NeighbourLink North York maintains the right to deny the participant’s participation in this NeighbourLink North York Event if they deem that participation would risk loss or damage to any party. This waiver agreement shall be governed by the laws of Ontario. Any legal proceeding, claim, or lawsuit related to the participant’s participation in this NeighbourLink North York Event shall take place exclusively in courts located in Toronto, Ontario. The participant agrees that this waiver agreement shall remain in full force and effect without modification and that participation in this NeighbourLink North York Event is pursuant to the terms of this agreement By checking the box below you fully understand and agree to the above terms.*
