The Willow Therapeutic Community House Association is seeking gifts, sponsorships, and support from community members. In our commitment to full transparency with our stakeholders and the public, we have published an itemized projected cost list on our website: [www.thewillowtherapeuticcommunityhouse.org](http://www.thewillowtherapeuticcommunityhouse.org).
In memory and honor of our friend, Preston Buffalo, a local Indigenous, Two-Spirit artist who sadly passed away in June 2024, we are dedicating our inaugural fundraiser to him with a Fine Art (and other items) Silent Auction.
If we raise $50,000, we will be able to rent our future community house and prepare for licensing and registration. Once registered and licensed, we will be eligible for government grants. Unfortunately, current government funding in our field is only available to organizations that are already licensed and registered.
If we raise $100,000, we can cover salaries and all start-up costs, ensuring a solid foundation without the need to rush.
If we raise $150,000, we can also purchase the necessary equipment to secure our licensing.
Our community has already stepped up to alleviate some of the financial strain:
- **Gallery 881** is our platinum sponsor for this event.
- **Lowtide Properties** has provided a space for the art to be displayed for two weeks.
- **Retro Modern Designs** has graciously offered to furnish both venues, creating the perfect ambiance.
Musical performances will be provided by the talented duo, **Natasha Kozak** and **Alan Wong-Moon**, who will perform a mix of covers and original songs. Additionally, background music will enhance the atmosphere as soon as you arrive.
We will have alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Light appetizers, included with your ticket purchase, will be generously provided by **Edie Jackson**.
There will be a raffle and several keynote speakers, including the Willow's President. The entire Willow Board of Directors will also be present to answer any questions.
Contributing artists will receive 25% of the winning bid and complimentary entry to the event.
General admission tickets, priced at $100 each, include all of the above—a fair price for an excellent and worthy cause.
