2025 Sandy Hill Winter Classic
Welcome to the 2025 Sandy Hill Winter Classic! We are super excited for this years tournament and we are hoping to make it the biggest one yet!
The team registration for the tournament is $250 and 100% of the funds will be going directly to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in support of Cancer Research. Your team can consist of up to 12 players including a goalie but no less than 6 skaters and a goalie. The tournament will be played at the Sandy Hill Community Center ODR (Outdoor Rink) and it will be 4on4 full ice hockey. Games will tentatively be 15 minutes run time each with 3 round robin games for each team, semi finals and a final.
You will be guaranteed at least 3 games, free lunch and a box of donuts from Mavericks Donuts with your entry, and a great time.
There will also be a bar night at Nox, the bar in Minto Sports Complex the evening of the tournament, hope to see you there!
Once you fill out this form and have paid, you will receive an email with a form to complete your registration. You will fill out your roster and send it back to us.
Please be aware that in case of poor weather, the tournament will be moved back to February 8th.
Bienvenue à la Classique hivernale de la Côte de Sable 2025! Nous sommes ravis de vous accueillir pour cette édition du tournoi.Les frais d’inscription pour le tournoi sont de 250 $, et 100 % de l’argent sera directement remis à la Fondation Princess Margaret. Votre équipe peut être composée de 6 à 12 joueurs, incluant un gardien (au moins 6 patineurs). Le tournoi se déroulera sur la patinoire extérieure du Centre communautaire de la Côte-de-Sable.
Chaque équipe jouera au moins trois matchs, et il y aura deux demi-finales ainsi qu’une finale à la fin du tournoi. Les matchs auront une durée de 15 minutes sans arrêt. Vous recevrez un dîner gratuit ainsi qu’une boîte de beignets offerte par Mavericks Donuts.Une soirée spéciale dédiée au tournoi aura également lieu à Nox le soir du tournoi, afin de recueillir encore plus de fonds!Une fois ce formulaire complété, vous recevrez un courriel contenant un formulaire d’inscription. Ce formulaire devra être retourné le plus tôt possible.Merci encore pour votre participation, et on se voit le 1er février!
Important : En cas de mauvaises conditions météorologiques, le tournoi sera reporté au 8 février.
