The Tokai String Quartet’s Amanda Goodburn collaborates with Warp Trio pianist Mikael Darmanie, National Arts Centre Orchestra violist Paul Casey, genre-bending violinist Rachel Handman, and Leana Rutt, Associate Principal Cellist of the Canadian Opera Company, to perform a program of introspection, awe and love. Ian Cussin's musical portrait of Hieronymus Bosch's Ship of Fools will be paired with Bach's Sarabande from the third Cello Suite, Schumann's Arabesque for solo piano, and a tune by Ellington. Time will stand still for the Adagio from Schubert's Cello Quintet, and the night will return to tuneful dances in Dvorak's A Major Piano Quintet.
