Sapin-Sapin: Filipinx Art Festival is a celebration of our Filipino/a/x culture, while highlighting the diasporic talent in the lower mainland.
This festival will highlight:
With the theme of the ultimate and well-loved Filipino layered rice cake, Sapin-Sapin, we explore our diverse and colourful culture, merging interdisciplinary forms of art and traditions, and dissect the layers of what it means to be Filipinx.
Join us as we gather on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10 AM to 5 PM at West Mall Annex 110, UBC for the Community Workshops, and on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 7 PM to 9:30 PM at Dorothy Somerset Studio, UBC for the Showcase and Culmination night of the festival. See you there!
