As part of the exhibition this womb of thing to be by Charline Dally presented at Diagonale, Audrée-Jade Ravary proposes a mediation involving movement and one's senses.  This somatic mediation is designed for bodies of all abilities, ages and neuro-types. Participants will be invited to move and improvise gestures inspired by the works and the installation. With the somatic approach, rather than formulating exhibition itineraries in which audiences are static and based solely on the dissemination of didactic knowledge, the tour places body language at the centre of the transmission experience. Audrée-Jade Ravary (she/they) is an adaptive dance teacher and cultural worker. Grounded in queer and decolonized epistemologies, Audrée-Jade's current research lies at the crossroads of somatic education and the visual arts. They have been developing their somatic tour project since 2022. SOMATIC TOURS

Dans le cadre de l'exposition this womb of thing to be de Charline Dally présentée à Diagonale, Audrée-Jade Ravary propose une médiation faisant appel au mouvement et aux sensorialités individuelles. Cette médiation somatique est destinée aux corps de toutes capacités et de tous âges ainsi qu'à tous les neuro-types. Les participant·e·s seront invité·e·s à bouger et à improviser des gestes inspirés des œuvres et de la mise en espace. Avec l'approche d'une visite somatique, plutôt que de formuler des parcours d'expositions dans lesquels les publics sont statiques et basés uniquement sur la diffusion des savoirs didactiques, ce nouveau principe de visites accompagnées met le langage corporel au centre de l'expérience de transmission.  Audrée-Jade Ravary (elle/iel) est enseignante en danse adaptée et travailleuse culturelle. Ancrée dans les épistémologies queer et décoloniale, ses recherches actuelles s'inscrivent au croisement de l'éducation somatique et des arts visuels.
