Class Description:

Generating movement through a system based on the street dance style called popping, exploring three overarching concepts: undulation, isolation, and dynamics. Experimentation is at the core of each class, our aim is to always discover and create something new. 

Teacher Description:

Eric Cheung is a street dance and inter-disciplinary artist based in so-called Vancouver, on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh Nations - who explores different mediums to further expand the boundaries of street dance in film, theatre, new media, fashion, Virtual Reality (VR), and interactive digital experiences.

Creative projects include E_GO, I(n)finite, Re:1974, iye, wave, ALT, EOM and iyeism. Eric has been featured on Nowness, Boooooom, Vimeo Staff Pick, Highsnobiety, and Sky Any Colour x ACRMN. Performed in dance works in Accelerate Festival, Project 686km, Festival Accès Asie, and exhibited work at Place Des Arts for JOAT festival.
