Join us for a traditional Oktoberfest party in the heart of Sherwood Park!

This is the only multi-generational event of this kind in the area, with kids welcome to enjoy activities while adults can try a variety of beers and other beverages. We welcome all ages onto the dance floor, and would LOVE to see some of our attendees dressed in traditional Dirndl or Lederhosen!

• Doors open at 5:00pm at the OLPH event space (lower level), with kids activities available and Oktoberfest music to set the mood between 5:00pm-6:30pm.
• Live music and dance performances will begin after 6:30pm and run until midnight.

This year, in response to rising inflation and food costs, we are making ticket prices more affordable to allow more folks to join the party. In order to do this, we are moving back to simpler, more traditional food offerings like you would find in a German beer hall. Your admission includes a large Bavarian soft pretzel, and we'll have bratwurst on a bun and additional pretzels available for purchase as the night goes on.

We are bringing back our popular performers from last year, including live music from Sound Flight, and traditional dancers The Schuhplattlers. Kids activities at the beginning of the night include face painting, cotton candy, and decorating Lebkuchenhertz (German gingerbread heart cookies).

Adult entry - $20

Child entry (under 12) - $10

If you purchase 8 or more tickets, we will arrange to have your party seated together. For smaller groups seating is first-come, first served.

This event is hosted through partnership between the German Language and Culture Association, and the Service Clubs of Strathcona County (Sherwood Park Rotary Club, ELKS of Canada, Canadian Progress Club, Knights of Columbus and United Commercial Travelers).
