The Department of Industrial Relations at Université Laval and the Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work (CRIMT) are pleased to invite you to a conference titled "Work: Democratize, Decommodify, Decarbonize. Current State and Challenges for Social Sciences," presented by Isabelle Ferreras on June 19, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM.


Isabelle Ferreras, a professor at the Catholic University of Louvain and a researcher at Harvard University, will receive an honorary doctorate in industrial relations from Université Laval during the same week. Her presence in the country provides an excellent opportunity to organize this conference, which will offer an overview of her work.  The presentation will be followed by a discussion led by Mathieu Dupuis, Associate Professor (Faculty of Social Sciences), and Charles Tremblay-Potvin, Assistant Professor (Faculty of Law), both professors at Université Laval.

The event will be held in french, with simultaneous translation provided for online attendees
