The Kensington Market Community Land Trust and the Kensington Market Jazz Festival have teamed up to bring you a music-themed walking tour.
Join us for an exploration of musical history and music venues in Kensington Market. The tour will begin with a visit to the legendary Kensington Sound Studio, where Vezi will give a glimpse of the studio's 50-year legacy. Eugene Slonimerov (Urban Researcher and member of the KMCLT’s People’s Map project) will guide you through the venues, gathering places and stories that make Kensington Market such an eclectic and exciting neighbourhood. Eugene will be joined by KMCLT co-chair and jazz guitarist Kevin Barrett. Come immerse yourself in Kensington music, past, present and future!
