AlgomaTrad is featuring  “The Barrel Boys”, with bluegrass music at its best, in concert at the AlgomaTrad Centre, 1249 F&G Line.  Concert will run from 7pm until about 9:30pm with a wee break in the middle. Depending on the weather, concert may be in the covered pavilion, or in the main hall. 

Ontario bluegrass and roots band, The Barrel Boys have spent over a decae decade crafting a distinctive sound that balances innovation and tradition. They are renowned for the breathtaking vocal harmonies and instrumental prowess that are central to bluegrass, old-time, and country music. What really sets The Boys apart is the heartfelt original writing that continues to charm audiences across Canada. Established in 2012, The Barrel Boys are a 5-piece acoustic string band based in Ontario, Canada. The band’s sound is built around rich vocal harmonies and virtuosic instrumental playing, and their unique repertoire of original material is informed by their fluency in classic bluegrass, old-time, country, and Americana.
