Dear LAPS Friends and Families,

We’re so sorry to share that we’ve had to make the tough decision to cancel our 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, originally planned for Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the LAPS shelter.

Due to unforeseen circumstances involving urgent tree removal on our property, the grounds are no longer safe for visitors. Your safety—and that of your little ones and our animals—will always be our top priority.

We know how much everyone looks forward to this day of fun, photos with the Easter Bunny, and making special memories together. We’re heartbroken to miss it this year, and we truly apologize for any disappointment this may cause.

We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support of LAPS and the animals in our care, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for future events. Thank you for understanding, and for being such a valued part of our LAPS family.

Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day of Easter excitement! Enjoy an Easter egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, delicious food trucks, face painting, local vendors, cotton candy, snuggles with adoptable animals, and more.
