From May 23 to 25, 2025, Montreal will become a vibrant center for Cambodian culture with the upcoming Festival Champa - Season of Cambodia, organized by Connexion Champa.

The festival aims to celebrate Cambodia's rich heritage through culture, arts, music, history, gastronomy, and dance.

The highlight of this event will be Bangsokol: A Requiem for Cambodia offering a moving performance combining orchestral music and choral voices. The show, conceived as a requiem dedicated to Cambodia—a country with a tragic past—aims to honor the resilience of its people.

As part of the festival, a retro evening showcasing the golden age of Cambodian music and dance will highlight the arts and culture. Additionally, culinary experiences allowing Montrealers to discover the rich and vibrant flavors of Cambodian cuisine are on the program.
