What is Mental Health First Aid?
This course provides practical tools to help adults recognize when a young person may be struggling and offers guidance on how to provide meaningful support. By focusing on the challenges and pressures faced by youth today, the program empowers participants to foster understanding, build trust, and promote resilience in the young people they care for.
Event Details:
🧑🤝🧑 Who Should Attend? Mentors of rural Ottawa youth, including coaches, youth workers, scout & guide leaders, and other adult supporters. Participants must be 16+
📅 When: Saturday, April 26, 2025 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
📍 Where: Osgoode Youth Association (5479 Osgoode Main St, Osgoode, ON)
💰 Cost: $30 (includes snacks and lunch)
