March 10, 2025 — This past year, EDAM has been working on an ambitious project to digitize a significant portion of our video archives, a collection of over 300 tapes spanning over 4 decades of creative activities. EDAM’s video archives are a truly unique and important resource, cataloguing a wide range of dance, performance, and experimentation in Vancouver.
We invite you to join us for a special celebration launching our archives! We are excited to collectively reflect on EDAM’s 43+ year legacy together with you, as we simultaneously look towards EDAM’s future. The event will feature:
This event is a ticketed fundraiser to help EDAM sustain itself during a time of rising costs. We ask you to consider supporting EDAM by adding a donation on top of your ticket. Donations of $25+ will receive a charitable tax receipt. Your generous support will go directly towards artist fees for EDAM’s teachers and performers as well as helping to off-set operational costs associated with our regular programming including classes, workshops, jams, and shows. Invest in the future of EDAM, and help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000!
