The Maine Trykers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing adaptive bicycles for children and adults with disabilities in the state of Maine.  We believe everyone, regardless of ability, should be able to experience the joy of riding a bicycle and we are committed to helping as many riders as possible.  

However, an adaptive bicycle is expensive.  We work with riders and their families to assess their needs and identify multiple adaptations to ensure their bike riding experience is a success.  The bicycle and adaptations can often cost at least $1,000.

Families are not obligated to pay for their bicycle and the Maine Trykers is committed to fundraising so the cost of a bicycle is not a barrier to any individual in need.  Your donation will help support this effort and we appreciate any support you can provide!
