Friends of the Shelter (FOTS) has increasingly focused on preventing animals from entering shelters by promoting and subsidizing low cost spay/neuter  programs in the community.  Our primary source of funding is the support of people who share our dream of a day when there are no more homeless animals in our community. Every donation to Friends of the Shelter funds our spay/neuter programs and prevents unwanted litters.  In 2024 we were able to alter 73 dogs and 738 cats.
