Founded in 1989, Main Street Point Pleasant is one of the oldest downtown economic development corporations in the state. We installed the downtown streetscape and lighting, built Point Pleasant's Riverfront Park, commissioned the Riverfront Park floodwall murals and the world-famous Mothman Statue, helped businesses access facade grants and low-interest business loans, stopped downtown Point Pleasant's decline, and got it back on the path to growth and new life.
Today, we are continuing our work and forging ahead with exciting new projects. Improvement is never finished, and the new Waterfront Farmers Market will be a massive addition to our downtown and even the entire county. We're working with the building owners to give new life to the State Theater and former Iron Gate Grill. The conversion of the Kisar-Kincaid House to a bed & breakfast is once again making progress. And as always, we're here to support our business owners.
