Located in Lahore, Pastor Zeeshan Rehmat runs a Spirit-filled Church and a Ministry called Evangelist Team Ministry.  Zeeshan opened a school named Light of the World after receiving the call from Jesus to help those in need in the community. They had built a place for the children who were left on the streets without education,  the women whose families never sent them to school before they were married, and the illiterate adults who had been enslaved by the brick trade only to be trapped tolling side by side with their spouses and children, a job that sometimes never pays for the days work and only affords them to put two meals a day on the table.

Zeeshan has built education programs to help people of all ages learn to read and write and gain skills that will give them the freedom to support themselves in safer and healthier environments. It pulls the children off the street and builds up a better future for all the adults who enter those buildings.

To address the need for safer work environments, the adult education programs teach everyone to read and write; the ministry opened a sewing center for women, where they learned seamstress skills that allowed them to start their businesses and work inside their homes—making clothes and doing alterations.  For men, there are classes to learn how to start a self-sustainable business outside of brick trade programs.

Every day, more and more people seek help from the Ministry—inside the programs and the Church. The school is at its capacity, and we need $5,000 to expand the space to fit the current needs. With the expansion of space and programs that support more people, the 2k/monthly support (24k yearly)- will help keep alive all the education, school, teachers, ministry, food, adult education, and job training programs.
