The Clarity Project is a citizen-driven initiative in Hawai'i that is comprised of doctors, therapists, medical professionals, advocates, and researchers interested in or currently using psychedelic modalities. Our network also includes patient advocates, those involved in hospice care and end-of-life care, and those committed to mental health care.
Through community education, advocacy, and legislative action, the Clarity Project aims to create the necessary legal frameworks, regulatory bodies, and associated governmental mechanisms to help expand therapeutic access to psychedelics in Hawai'i.
Recent online and in-person events hosted by Clarity Project include “Psychedelics & the 2024 Elections,” “Diverse Voices in the World of Psychedelics,” a conversation with UCSF Professor Jennifer Mitchell on “Breaking Through Trauma,” a panel discussion on “How to Change Your Mind,” and a screening of an 11-minute short film, “Renewed,” that details a Vietnam veteran’s psychedelic healing story.
Hawaii Health & Harm Reduction Center is the federal 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor of the Clarity Project and all donations are tax deductible.
