Not every city has a community band, but Spokane, WA does!  The Lilac City Community Band is group of around 60 amateur musicians ranging in age from teenagers to octogenarians who love to perform a wide range of band music for our community.  We are all unpaid volunteers, and in fact each member of the band pays dues to partially support our operations.  However, we also rely on you, our audience and community members, to help support us so that we can entertain you with three concerts per year in addition to our summer concerts in local parks.  Please donate to help us with our expenses; even a small donation is very helpful.  Thank you so much!
