Your donation will help gDiapers achieve its mission to eliminate one of the largest contributors to plastic waste globally: diapers. gDiapers is fiscally sponsored by Realize Impact, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. 

gDiapers has patented the world’s first fully compostable diaper.  We pair our diapers with a full delivery, collection and composting service.  This means our diapers compost into nutrient rich soil, replenishing the earth, while also not contributing to waste or pollution. 

gDiapers is focusing on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and aims to  eliminate plastic diaper waste from the 15 nations of the South Pacific within 5 years.  

The first step is to build out the gDiapers service in Samoa and showcase the solution during the next Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM) being held in Apia, Samoa - October 2024. 

• Build infrastructure and systems to deliver, collect & compost 250,000 gDiapers in Apia leading up to CHOGM
• Create 8 new full time job equivalents 
• Support new mothers through our delivery & collection service 
• Provide measurable and verifiable impact reports for plastic waste reduction
• Test and report on quality of compost & revenue stream

When you donate to gDiapers via Realize Impact using this form, you'll enable us to dramatically improve the natural environment of the island nation of Samoa by eliminating disposable diaper waste from the island (currently just over 27% of all waste created). In doing so, gDiapers also will improve the lives of the people of Samoa, and empower women by creating meaningful employment and leadership roles for this typically under-employed group in the economy. Importantly, this showcase will prove catalytic for leaders of the 56 Commonwealth countries to see first hand the viability of this solution, and how easy it can be replicated across other island nations.
