Further, Black women are three to four times more likely to die in childbirth than their peers in other communities. 

👶🏾Equally as alarming, a recent study indicates that Black infants have a higher likelihood of survival when under the care of Black physicians. 

🩺Yet less than 6% of doctors in the United States identify as Black.
