The Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association - Greater Philadelphia (CBA-GP) is a new chapter of CBA, the Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association, USA. CBA was founded in Maryland in 1995 and has become a leading Chinese American professional association in the US. The CBA-GP was founded in February 2023 and is a Pennsylvania registered non-profit professional organization. The mission of the CBA-GP is promoting biotechnology innovation, product incubation and commercial transformation, strengthening collaborations and connections between academia and industry, and providing strategies and assistance for professional development.  The executive team of the CBA-GP consists of professors, entrepreneurs, and industry executives. We have 15 professors from Temple, UPenn, Drexel, Villanova, Blumberg, Lehigh, Rutgers, Weill Cornell, UTMB, etc., 9 entrepreneurs who are founders or CEOs of biotech companies, and about 20 industry executives from Johnson & Johnson, Merck, GSK, BMS, and small biotech companies etc. The CBA have more than 10,000 members. The CBA-GP have about 1700 members. We are still growing. So far, we have 17 sponsors and partners: Morgan Lewis, OncoC4, Edetek, Forecyte, sirnaomics, uBriGene, gator bio, Alliance pharma, nikegene, Morgan Stanley, IntelixBio, Pennsylvania biotechnology center, ACTS, Icura diagnostics, Asentage pharma, KPMG, and WuXi AppTec Advanced therapies.
