I'm honored to announce my candidacy for Alpine School Board District 6. After living in Orem for seven years, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the educational needs and challenges our community faces. My focus is on listening to and representing the parents, teachers, and staff of Orem and the broader Alpine School District.
As a mother of four, each with their own learning needs, I’ve experienced firsthand how crucial it is to collaborate with educators and specialists to ensure every child thrives. This personal journey, combined with over two decades of community involvement, fuels my commitment to the success of our students. Whether through PTA support or advocating for DLI programs, I’m deeply invested in improving education for all.
My experience living in different regions across the country has given me a unique perspective on educational practices. From prioritizing student safety in Jefferson County, Colorado, to experiencing an interdisciplinary curriculum in Carmel, Indiana, I bring diverse insights to strengthen our district’s educational framework.
I’m passionate about preserving creativity and balanced development in our schools by supporting arts and physical education programs. Every child deserves the chance to explore their talents, and I believe a well-rounded education offers the freedom to do just that.
Our schools are the heart of Orem, shaping future generations and nurturing dreams. I am committed to building a stronger school district by listening to the concerns of our community and advocating for solutions that keep schools open and programs intact.
I love Orem schools. Together, we can continue making them a place where every student can succeed. I’m ready to represent you—let’s move forward together.
