Your contribution to our March is Reading Month fundraiser will be used to buy books for schools that cannot afford them for their students.  As a thank you for donating, you'll receive some amazing artwork by MEA member Sarah Ellis -- she created the pieces to honor her colleague, Christine Beachler, who has been steadfastly advocating for students' access to books in their local school district. MEA's Classroom Support Fund is a 501c3 established to: - Purchase school supplies and distribute to professional educators and educational support professionals working in Michigan schools facing challenges. - Support public education in the state of Michigan.  - Enhance and improve the quality of public education in the state of Michigan.- Benefit the community served and promote activities and programs in support of the advancement of education.
