Axial is unique in Westchester in the combination of services offered.
In 2022 we were proud to bring "Never the Sinner" by John Logan to the Bethany Arts Community in Ossining, NY.
Axial Theatre engages actors, directors, and playwrights in developing and presenting new plays and selected revivals. This years program of short plays in development, "Cactus Flowers," will bloom into a spring production called "Best of Cactus Flowers," where six of the best short plays will be presented in a full production, also at the Bethany Arts Community.
Donations will go directly to the support of our productions and programs.
Axial welcomes students and cast members of all backgrounds. Many dramatic works focus on relevant cultural and social issues, often dealing with race, class, sexual orientation, or economic disparities. We regularly reach out to senior citizen populations and will be performing at Willow Towers Senior Center this fall.
We are proud to be supported by the William T Morris Foundation and Arts Westchester. Arts Partnerships include Honor Roll!, Willow Towers, The Schoolhouse, and the Hudson Valley Writers Center.
