Earth Day Pensacola is a registered non-for-profit, volunteer based committee with passionate people from the community carrying & passing the torch for 34 years.

 We coordinate FREE community events that provide education on ways to live sustainably with the amount of resources on the planet. 

We strive to bring the following to festival-goers through our selection of vendors/exhibitors:•Increased awareness of environmental issues that impact our community and planet
•Information, ideas, and projects that will lead our community toward environmentally beneficial solutions
•Inspiration through education on how to make eco-conscious choices as an individual and how those small steps are part of a long-term, collective impact on our environment

The annual Earth Day Festival in Pensacola, FL has been running for 34 years with a passion to celebrate life on this planet & promote sustainable practices and businesses. 

 We are an open committee and welcome anyone who wants to share their skills to help this event and service grow. Many hands makes for lighter load for all. 

In 2022 we started EcoKids specifically for the youth in all of us to celebrate art in all its forms & remember we create our future through our intentional actions. 

These festivals wouldn't happen if it wasn't for small vendor fees from for-profit businesses, generous sponsors & donors over the years

Non-Profit programs with similar values are always free to host a spot.

In honor of transparency it costs about $5000 on average to put on one of these festivals plus some smaller annual costs just to keep the committee legal. We would like to raise enough funds to cover our annual essentials PLUS give back into the community programs along the Gulf Coast.

Expenses include:

• Annual SunBiz Report
• Insurance
• PO Box
• Park plus building rental
• Banners & Marketing materials
• Misc Materials to facilitate proper garbage separation, Tape, ropes, signs, gloves, etc.
