Since 1983, the West Broadway Neighborhood Association (WBNA) has ensured that those who live and work within our focus area are heard on issues that matter most. We have advocated for affordable housing, safe public schools that provide quality education, clean parks and green spaces, community-centered development, and sustainability.
The WBNA organizes free community-building events that bring neighbors together to meet one another and exchange ideas. These include the West End Lights Winter Festival, an annual Neighborhood Clean-up and Yard Sale, a Garden Festival, summer concerts in Dexter Park and a Halloween-themed event at Dexter Park. In addition, the WBNA coordinates food and toy drives during the holidays to help local residents who are experiencing financial hardship.
We are also a resource hub, sharing information via our e-newsletters, social media, and community bulletin boards and hosting monthly Neighbor Nights focused on discussion of specific topics of interest to individuals, families and businesses in our community.
We have a small team of committed staff members who work on these initiatives each day and they are available to answer questions, make connections and meet with our members, partners and stakeholders.
Your membership ensures that we can continue our work year-round and into the future!
We are so grateful,
