Safe Place Foundation is a 35-bed housing program that facilitates recovery from substance abuse issues by providing ongoing staff support, recovery-focused community engagement, and peer mentorship.
We provide safe and stable housing to men who are homelessness or who are at significant risk of becoming homeless as they engage in the difficult journey of recovering from substance use disorders. Safe Place employs an integrated approach to sobriety that includes access to behavioral health care, structured activities of daily living, housing, and obtaining and maintaining gainful employment. Safe Place serves residents who arrive from treatment centers, correctional facilities, and off the streets.
Safe Place Foundation helps residents develop the roadmap and life skills to maintain sobriety, find gainful employment and maintain adequate housing which leads to independent living and happiness.
In 2023, 55 residents graduated from our program and secured housing of their own.
