Why it Matters
Growing Hope Gardens helps increase nutritious food access, tackles food insecurity, empowers communities, and promotes sustainability in low-income urban areas. By creating communal resident food gardens, we reduce barriers to access for fresh and culturally relevant produce, builds social connections, and creates job opportunities for unhoused and marginalized individuals.
Our model strengthens food independence, educates on nutrition, and supports long-term change in public health, resilience and sustainability.
With your help, we can bring our communal food gardens to even more people and continue growing hope, one garden at a time.
