Moving Mountains Adaptive Program

WHAT

   ❄An adaptive ski program that is about so much more than skiing.

   ❄Moving Mountains instructors build relationships with their students by giving them a new sense of freedom and helping them develop skills they didn't believe possible.

   ❄Our instructors are trained by and follow the processes and procedures of 

Professional Ski Instructors of America.

   ❄All lessons are offered at no cost to our students.

WHY

  ❄We believe everyone who desires to enjoy skiing should have the opportunity.

  ❄Moving Mountains Adaptive Program exists to develop confidence

 and provide opportunities for skiers at any level.

HOW

  ❄We are a 100% volunteer team providing alpine ski instruction to individuals, of all ages,

with cognitive and/or physical disabilities.

❄We are committed to enabling each student to achieve their personal highest level of independence.

  ❄We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Iron Mountain, Michigan.  Our funding comes from our generous donors and our annual golf outing

held at TimberStone Golf Course at Pine Mountain Ski and Golf Resort.

WHERE

  ❄Pine Mountain Ski and Golf Resort in Iron Mountain, Michigan graciously provides us with our home base.

WHEN

  ❄Our typical instruction season runs from early January though mid/late March.
