African Shepherds Alliance:
Lack of spiritual maturity and discernment is the chief reason that so much evil has been allowed to creep into the churches here in Kenya. Yet there is a growing number of African leaders that want to change the low spiritual maturity level so lamentably found in many Kenyan churches. African Shepherds Alliance trains men and women who yearn to hear the voice of God and desire to see their churches become spiritually built up and biblically sound.

Assisting Indigenous Missionaries:

We have come to the conclusion, that if a church is alive and healthy, it will begin to supply the needs of its members and even the surrounding community. The care of orphans, widows, abandoned women and the discipling of new members, are all part of a church family’s responsibility. So, we believe the best way to help the community at large is to raise up a healthy church.

This is why we are training indigenous men to be able to plant and oversee the work of establishing the local gathering of disciples. Biblical education, family counseling, conflict resolution, money management and who to go to when you don’t have answers, are just a few of the issues in which we train our men and women.

Medical & Family Assistance:

We also partner with different local hospitals and health organizations to put on free clinics in the slums of Ponda Mali, Ronda, Keptembwa and Kamwaura. Our clinic last year at StoneHouse Academy in Ponda Mali treated over 200 infirm people, some of whom had critical life and death issues.

Medical care in Kenya can be obtained at a comparatively low cost, but even so many cannot afford to pay. Even if they can pay, many are misdiagnosed. We would like to offer you the opportunity to help us help.

Stonehouse Fellowship of Churches:

StoneHouse Fellowship is the name of our growing church families in Kenya. We build church gathering places together with the Kenyans from a model of construction that is an attractive low-cost building.

Abandoned Women:

Extreme poverty leads many women into abusive marriages by their hopes of a better life. Yet, a better life rarely happens. Our ministry provides these women with an alternative. We offer these women and teenage girls a chance to acquire a skill that will allow them the opportunity to earn a living for themselves and their children.
